Dualgrid - Shared Network Management, S.A. emerged in the telecommunications market at the end of 2020 through a "joint-venture" agreement between NOS Comunicações, S.A. and Vodafone Portugal - Comunicações Pessoais, S.A., two of the most recognized and innovative electronic communications operators in Portugal.
 
Dualgrid’s main goal is to provide independent and trustworthy technical, administrative, and financial consulting services to telecommunications companies. With an approach based on efficiency, transparency and unwavering dedication, Dualgrid operates from planning and management of telecommunications networks to any complementary or ancillary activities.

Cost Allocation

Cost Allocation

Dualgrid manages all processes related to the cost allocation model. We periodically collect cost information from the network structure, validate the quality of the received information, and manage the entire cost allocation model, ensuring the transparency of costs for each shareholder.
Network Monitoring and SLAs

Network Monitoring and SLAs

We gather information from shareholders to monitor the Shared Network´s performance and to track and report on its quality indicators. We also calculate the level of compliance with the service levels defined in the Sharing Agreement and report to the shareholders any failures in meeting the service levels.
Network Design

Network Design

We align and optimize the planning of mobile access shared networks by developing a common network plan based on the individual plans of each shareholder. This ensures alignment and consensus among shareholders regarding costs, particularly in 50:50 logic for the construction of the new sites.
Confidentiality of Information

Confidentiality of Information

At Dualgrid, we safeguard commercially sensitive information through a "black box" mechanism, ensuring strict confidentiality. This approach guarantees the collection and processing of all confidential data as per the Sharing Agreement. Additionally, we implement robust procedures and necessary hardware/software systems to isolate and protect sensitive information effectively.

Key Figures

Our shareholders share 2G/4G and 5G, over more than 30,000 base stations in more than 10,000 sites. Their market share is around 60%, while 5G base stations account for around 80% of the total deployed in the country.
